How Great Thou Art

As I was posting these images of our trip to Marble, I couldn’t help but think of this hymn:

How Great Thou Art

Oh Lord My God, when I in awesome wonder

Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made

I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder

Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Chorus

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee

How great Thou art, How great Thou art

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee

How great Thou art, How great Thou
art.

When through the woods and forest glades I wander

And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.

When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur

And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.

Chorus

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee

How great Thou art, How great Thou art

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee

How great Thou art, How great Thou art.

And when I think that God His Son not sparing

Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;

That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,

He bled and died to take away my sins.

Chorus

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee,

How great Thou art, How great Thou art.

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee

How great Thou art, How great Thou art.

When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation

And take me home, what joy will fill my heart.

Then I shall bow in humble adoration

And there proclaim my God, How Great Thou Art!

How can we look upon the creation and not fall on our knees and worship the Creator when all of nature points to Him? Can you imagine what the new heaven and the new earth will be like?

But just as it is written, Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him. I Cor. 2:9

I pray that you know and love the Lord of all creation!
