Sunday Song

The past several weeks have been rather emotional for me. It started when Dan had to make a trip to the emergency room because he thought he was having a heart attack. He did have all the symptoms: a racing heart, numbness in his hands and feet, sudden weakness all over. He wasn't having a heart attack or stroke, thankfully. However, he was diagnosed with Giullan-Barre syndrome, which causes paralysis. The doctor thinks that the day we went to the emergency room was the peak of the attack and he will continue to get better. I'm praying he's right. We've been married for nearly 40 years and we're aiming for 50+. Ha! Thank you Lord for the gift of my husband.

No matter what our future holds, whether we're together one more day or twenty more years, I do know that since we both know Christ as our Saviour we have the precious hope that we will "stroll over Heaven".

  2. Praying for a fully recovery. I am glad the doctors were finally able to diagnose it and begin treating the disorder. I am sure you are physically and emotionally exhausted from this ordeal. May the peace of the Lord sustain you.

  7. Love the video. Makes me want to stroll over heaven with my dear hubby. I'm glad your husband didn't have a heart attack, but I know the problem he has is very troubling. I'm praying for his recovery and that you will see that 50th and beyond. I can't believe we've already had 52 anniversaries now. Boy the time sure flies by. We're getting closer to that "stroll."
    Blessings and prayers,
    Charlotte
