Grammy's Birthday Lunch

Yesterday Katie, Hannah, and Amy took me to lunch at Tea for Two Tearoom to celebrate my birthday, which is actually on Monday. I'm milking it for all it's worth (Ha!). Hannah was excited about what the menu had to offer. She loved the sauce from Grammy's chicken and asparagus crepes.

Katie was really interested in the birthday party that was happening in the room next to us. There were about ten 5 year old dressed up "ladies" having a tea party. Grammy was interested in getting some "sugar" from her girls. (My camera ((or the photographer)) is having some issues.)

Once we finished our lunch we headed out to a nearby shopping area where we had cupcakes and went shoe shopping for Katie. It's pretty bad when a 2 year-old's shoes cost more than the shoes you're wearing.
Of course, we had to visit the toy store, because what's a birthday celebration without toys!

Katie has her mom's and aunt's old Brio train set and loves to play with it. This little boy also loves train sets...we almost had a little altercation over one of the train cars. Sharing is something we're still workin on...

Monday I'll be helping kindergarteners (and their moms, dads, siblings, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, etc.) find their classrooms on the first day of school. You know, when it's Katie's first day of school, I'm so there!
