I don’t think envy is a fruit of the spirit

But…

I’m envious of my sister, Judy, and her family who are joining scores of other longhorns in Los Angeles for the BCS National Championship. They’ll be attending the ESPN tailgate in the morning and the Texas Exes tailgate in the afternoon.

Her son, who flew out on a flight from Dallas, said that the plane was all dressed in burnt orange and the flight attendant actually led the plane in “Texas Fight.” How cool is that!

They’ll be cheering our boy Colt as he leads the team to victory. (We hope!)

And we’ll light up the Tower in honor of the champions.
